Tennis

The tennis program [the rules] was originally started by Sarah Anthony, the mother of athlete Johnny Anthony. Sarah began the program June of 1988 with 8 athletes. While Sarah was Director of Tennis for the Memphis area athletes, the program quickly grew and flourished.

Julene Reed began helping Sara with the tennis program about fifteen yearsago, and she took over the position of Director of Tennis about five years ago. The tennis program now involves around thirty athletes from the Memphis area as well as approximately twenty players from the Baddour Center in Mississippi.

Events during the year include eight weeks of clinics during the summer.
