Fitness Club

Fitness Club was founded by a group of parents in 1979. They met at Emanuel Methodist Church. At that time they had about 20 athletes and 10 volunteers over the years Fitness Club grew and moved to Quince Road Church of Christ with 40 athletes and 20 volunteers. In February of 1988 Central Church invited us to use their Family Life Center and we grew to over 200 athletes.

In 2001, World Overcomers Outreach Ministries Church graciously let us stay at their beautiful Family Life Center and have made us feel at home. We are very grateful to World Overcomers for their love and support.

Fitness Club offers the following activities:

• basketball [rules]
• bocce [rules]
• bowling [rules]
• powerlifting [rules]
• soccer [rules]
• softball [rules]
• swimming [rules]
• tennis [rules]
• track & field [rules] which also includes bocce
• volleyball [rules]

Fitness Club believes that people with mental retardation just want a chance in life to prove to the world they are all “WINNERS” not only at sports but in life too.

Fitness Club meets on Monday nights from September to May.
